The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is proud to be a supporter of the CASA of Johnson/Wyandotte Counties and Jackson County CASA organizations as well as the Theta Foundation.
Our group works throughout the year on supporting both CASA organizations through monetary and volunteer support. We have raised money via sales of our cookbook, "Dining In, in Kansas City" as well as our signature wine tasting event, Flights and Kites. Our chapter has memebrs that serve on the board of both CASA organizations and is committed to provide a varity of volunteer support thoughout the year.
The Theta Foundation's
mission is " to secure and manage resources for the educational, leadership, and philanthropic programs of the Fraternity and for the scholastic, professional, and service pursuits of its members to help them reach their fullest potential and make a difference in the world." The Grater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter takes this mission to heart and works throughout the year to support the Theta Foundation
. Our chapter is proud to award the Harriet Fowler Brown Scholarship
each year to several deserving Thetas.
